1. Introduction & who we are
We are Go Exchange, the team behind the betting exchange at goexch.it.com. We run a cricket-first exchange and live casino built for players across India, and our whole account process happens over WhatsApp.
Because we handle your name, your phone number and your money, we take your privacy seriously. This policy tells you, in words you can actually read, what we do with the details you share.
This policy covers our website, our sign-up and login flows, our APK, and any chat you have with our support desk. When we say "we", "us" or "our" we mean Go Exchange. When we say "you" we mean the person using the site or holding a Go Exchange ID.
By creating a Go Exchange account or using our services, you agree to how we handle data as described here. If something in this policy does not sit right with you, please do not use the platform, and feel free to ask us about it first.
We wrote this policy the way we would want one written for us. No walls of tiny print, no clever wording that hides the point. If you read one section and still have a doubt, that is on us, not you, and you can always message our desk for a straight answer.
We operate for players in India, so our approach follows Indian expectations around data and payments. Your UPI details, your WhatsApp number and your betting activity stay inside a system built for this market, run by people who understand it.
2. Information we collect
We only ask for what we actually need to run your account. Here is the full list, so there are no surprises.
Details you give us directly
- Name - so we can set up and identify your account.
- Phone number - your WhatsApp number is your main point of contact and part of how we verify you.
- Email address - optional for many members, used for records and occasional service notices.
- Password - stored in scrambled (hashed) form. We cannot read it, and neither can anyone else.
- UPI and transaction references - the UPI ID or reference number you use for a deposit or withdrawal, so we can match a payment to your account.
Details we collect automatically
- Device and IP information - your device type, browser, operating system and IP address, picked up when you visit the site or open the app.
- Usage data - which pages you view, when you log in, and rough activity patterns that help us spot problems and fraud.
- Cookies and similar tags - small files that keep you logged in and remember basic preferences. More on these in section 5.
WhatsApp chats
Since your Go Exchange ID is opened and managed on WhatsApp, our conversation history with you is part of your record. That includes the messages you send us, deposit and withdrawal requests, and any screenshots you share to prove a payment.
We do not read your private chats with other people. We only see the messages you send to our official Go Exchange WhatsApp desk.
3. How we use your information
Every piece of data we hold has a job. We do not collect things "just in case". Here is exactly what we use your information for.
- Create and verify your ID - your name and phone number let us set up a Go Exchange account and confirm it is really you.
- Process deposits and withdrawals - your UPI and transaction references let us credit your balance and pay out winnings to the right person, fast.
- Support - our team uses your account details and chat history to answer questions and fix issues over WhatsApp, in Hindi or English.
- Fraud and AML checks - we review device, IP and transaction patterns to catch fake accounts, chargeback abuse and money-laundering attempts. This protects honest members.
- Service messages - we may send you account notices, payment confirmations and important updates. These are not marketing spam; they are the messages you need to run your account.
We do not sell your personal data. Full stop. Your details are not a product we trade to advertisers.
We also try to keep messaging light. When our team reaches out, it is usually because a deposit landed, a withdrawal went through, or your account needs your attention. If you would rather skip the optional stuff, you can tell us and we will trim it down.
One more thing worth being clear about: we do not use your betting history to judge you or share it around. Whether you place two bets a month or follow every cricket match, that record stays between you and your account, used only to run the service you signed up for.
4. WhatsApp & third parties
To run Go Exchange we work with a few trusted partners. We share the smallest slice of data needed to get the job done, and nothing more.
WhatsApp is our main support and account channel. Messages between you and our desk travel through WhatsApp's own systems, which use end-to-end encryption between devices. WhatsApp's own privacy terms apply to how they run their platform, and we would suggest reading them if you are curious.
Payment processors
When you deposit or withdraw, your transaction reference passes to the UPI and banking rails that actually move the money - PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm and the underlying banks. They handle the payment; we handle matching it to your account.
Hosting and infrastructure
Our website and app run on third-party hosting and server providers. They store data on our behalf under strict contracts and cannot use it for their own purposes.
Beyond these, we only share data when the law requires it - for example, a valid order from an Indian court or regulator. We will not hand your information to random third parties who ask.
5. Cookies & analytics
Cookies are tiny text files your browser stores. We use a small number of them, and here is what for.
- Essential cookies - keep you logged in and keep the site working. Without these, basic features break.
- Preference cookies - remember simple choices so you do not have to set them every visit.
- Analytics - we look at anonymous, grouped stats about how many people visit and which pages they use. This tells us what to improve. It is counting, not spying on you by name.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings any time. Just know that if you block the essential ones, staying logged in to Go Exchange may stop working.
6. Data security
We treat your data the way we would want ours treated. Here is how we guard it.
- Encryption - traffic between your device and our site is protected with HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, so even we never see the plain text.
- Access limits - only a small number of trained staff can reach member data, and only for the part of their job that needs it.
- Monitoring - we watch for unusual logins and payment patterns and act quickly when something looks off.
No system on earth is one hundred percent unbreakable, and we will not pretend otherwise. But we work hard to keep the risk low, and if a serious breach ever affected your data, we would tell you.
Your side matters too. Use a strong, unique password, keep your phone locked, and never forward your OTP to anyone. A big share of account trouble starts with a leaked passcode, not a hacked server.
Watch out for people posing as Go Exchange. Real support only comes through our official WhatsApp desk at wa.link/1xcric. We will never call from a random number demanding money, promising fake bonuses in exchange for your PIN, or asking you to install screen-sharing apps. If a message feels rushed or too good to be true, slow down and check with us first.
Our team also reviews payment activity to protect the pool of money members trust us with. That review is on our side and does not add friction for honest players, but it is part of why we hold the data we do.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your Go Exchange account is active, plus a reasonable period after.
Why keep it after you leave? Two main reasons. First, financial and anti-money-laundering rules ask us to hold transaction records for a set time. Second, keeping basic records helps us resolve any dispute that comes up later about a payment.
Once a record is no longer needed for those reasons, we delete it or make it anonymous so it can no longer point back to you. If you want your data removed sooner, see your rights in the next section - we will honour what the law lets us.
8. Your rights
Your data is yours. You have real control over it, and asking us to act on it is simple.
- Access - ask us what personal data we hold about you.
- Correction - tell us to fix details that are wrong or out of date.
- Deletion - ask us to erase your data, subject to the record-keeping rules in section 7.
- Opt-out - tell us to stop sending non-essential messages.
To use any of these, just message our WhatsApp desk at wa.link/1xcric from your registered number. We use your number to confirm the request is really you, then we act on it. We aim to reply within a few days.
9. Age restriction (18+)
Go Exchange is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Betting is not for minors, full stop.
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Every sign-up requires you to confirm you are of legal age, and we may ask for proof if we have reason to doubt it.
If we find out an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it and delete their data. If you are a parent or guardian and think a minor has given us information, message our WhatsApp desk and we will remove it quickly.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time - for example, when we add a feature or when the rules change. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
If a change is significant, we will do our best to flag it, such as a notice on the site or a message to your registered number. Please check back now and then so you always know where you stand.
Carrying on with your Go Exchange account after a change means you accept the updated policy.
